The A66 located in the north of England was recently named peoples favourite road.

The 115-mile road spans the width of the country, from Penrith to Scotch Corner.

Despite passing the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and Pennines, the reasons cited for its popularity were its lack of debris, good lighting, light traffic and good quality service stations. Not to mention the spectacular views over some of Britain’s finest countryside.

It’s also one of the most searched for roads on Google! Over 5,000 people a month search for “Farm shop A66”.

With so much demand you’d think there would be plenty of choice but we could only find 4, luckily they’re absolute crackers.

Here’s they are, why not visit them all?
